Cardboard City

The exhibition, created by me in 2011 for Sofia Design Week, was made entirely by hand. I wanted to build not just static objects but pieces that children could play with and explore, so everything from the cars and the maze to the coffee shop and even a little puppet theatre for the opening was crafted from cardboard and designed to be interactive. It became one of the most loved exhibitions of SDW 2011, and it took me and a team of wonderful volunteers about two weeks of pure handcrafting to bring it to life.

Adriana Andreeva - Studio Komplekt

“Witnessing an entire gallery transform into a cardboard playground was nothing short of magical. Families stepped inside to discover the imaginative world Vicky had created, immediately falling in love with her beautiful constructions and unique designs. Her work was both welcoming and interactive, inviting children to explore, play, and connect with her creations in a way that felt utterly enchanting”
