This project was commissioned by the British Council and focused on migration across several European cities. I represented Sofia by photographing and interviewing fifteen people who had moved there for many different reasons. Their stories were powerful, some came for great job opportunities, while others had survived difficult journeys to reach Europe. The exhibition, curated by Len Grant as part of the Open Cities project, included work from eight cities and travelled around Europe for two years. I loved being part of it, because every person’s story felt like a book on its own.
